Working effectively with other agencies – sharing information, discussing risks, implementing support plans and exploring creative work models– is frequently cited as one of the most important ways to thrive effective service delivery.
It is for this reason that Huduma Kenya is investing in effectiveness of multi-agency working that is dependent on the quality and strength of the collaborative partnerships.
Huduma Kenya CEO Mr. Ben Kai Chilumo chaired a meeting with members of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) leadership team at the Huduma Kenya Secretariat today.

The discussions focused on enhancing service accessibility for citizens through the Huduma Kenya one-stop-shop platform and adopting the universal agent model to bridge service delivery gaps, among other issues.
NTSA committed to deploying enrollment kits to several Huduma Centres in the coming weeks. These kits will enhance access to NTSA services, including Smart Driver’s License (DL) registration. Currently, Huduma Centres offer Smart Driver’s License (DL) registration and issuance, company log book collection, e-citizen front-end services at the Huduma Centre Cyber Cafes, and informational services.

This was followed by another meeting on 11th February, 2025 of a multi-agency team convened at the Huduma Kenya Secretariat by the Huduma Kenya CEO, Mr. Ben Kai Chilumo.
The purpose of the meeting was to strategize on reducing Turn Around Times (TATs) for services offered by various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the one-stop-shop Huduma Centres channel.
The meeting focused on identifying bottlenecks, streamlining processes, and leveraging digital solutions to enhance efficiency.

By progressively reducing TATs, Huduma Kenya aims to improve service delivery, enhance citizen satisfaction and promote government efficiency.
The commitment to faster service provision aligns with Huduma Kenya’s vision of seamless, accessible and citizen-centric public service delivery.
At Huduma Kenya, Multi-agency collaboration is working well as various government agencies work together within the Huduma Kenya platform, allowing citizens to access multiple services from different departments in a single location, essentially creating a “one-stop shop” for government services, eliminating the need to visit separate offices for each individual service.
