COMRADES POWER! THE CGUSA IS HERE!

In the heart of Chonyiland, a powerful body of college and university students, graduates, and undergraduates is found.

This is a voice for not only chonyi youth who are still in different colleges & universities but also those who graduated from different colleges and universities.

Under the leadership of young men and women with courage, charisma, resilience, and determination to make a difference, CGUSA exists to empower Chonyi Comrades through mentorship,networking, and opportunities’ building.

On Tuesday 23rd of December, Comrades were joined by very seniour officials from chonyi and other parts of Kilifi County during the end-of-year party.

During the function held at Bandasalama, Amphitheater hall was graced by high profile leaders among them, Principal Secretary in the State Department for Youth and Creative Economy, Comrade Fikirini Jacobs, High Court Judge and Commissioner of the Judicial Service Commission, Justice Commr. Antony Mrima, Kilifi South Member of Parliament, Hon Richard Kiti Chonga, Mwarakaya MCA Hon. Lewa Mkadi, Chasimba MCA, Hon. Ronald Kazungu Mbura, Junda (Msa County) MCA, Hon. Sylvester Kai Tsuma Mwasambu of Junda Ward, Kisauni Constituency, Mombasa County. Other included the Chairman of Chonyi Professional Forum, Jonathan Langi, Deputy Chief Land Registar Ministry of Lands&Physical Planning based in Kisumu County who is also the Patron of the Comrades forum: CGUA, Mr. Rufus Kalama. Also a host of Officials from Kilifi County Government led by the Chief Officer incharge of Finance Eng. Hezekiel Nguma Mwarua were present as well as well as Geoffrey Ngombo Mwango incoming Chief Officer Blue Economy Kilifi County

Others were Timothy Janji Nzomo, Regional Manager, IPOA, Garisa County, and Omar Lewa, Branch Manager, Stanbik Bank, among others.

The convention brought together all Graduates,Graduands,Students still in colleges, and all the Chonyi professionals to connect and network for a better Chonyi future for the development of the community.

In summary, the convention was progressive in the eyes of those who were present. Comrades through their leader Alex Chimwaga

The have so played a significant role to shape CGUSA to where it through mentoring the Young Comrades and guiding them. They also helped in organising the meeting that saw high level leaders attend and motivate the young Chonyi Comrades. Congratulations to them.

In summary, the convention was progressive in the eyes of those who were present. Comrades presented their 2026 activities budget of 35,000/-. But Leaders in the Convention donated over 100,000/- instead.

The convention brought together all Graduates, Graduands, Students still in colleges and all the Chonyi Professionals to connnect and network for a better Chonyi future for the development of the Community.

Now, Chonyi Comrades are happy. Many thanks to all leaders who have vowed to stand with the Comrades through their leader Alex Mbura Chimwaga.
