HON. ZAWADI KINGI: A Shining Example of a Village Youth now the Village Pride of Bamba, Kilifi County!

The sun had barely risen over the small village of Bamba in Kilifi County, young Zawadi is already up and about, tending to her family’s chores.
Despite the early hour, Zawadi’s smile shone brighter than the morning dew on the grass. Growing up in Bamba, Zawadi had seen firsthand the impact of climate change on her community.
Droughts had become more frequent, and the once-lush crops now struggled to survive. As she worked in her family shamba, Zawadi’s mind wandered to her dreams of implementing sustainable farming practices and conservation projects in Bamba.
She envisioned a future where her village would thrive despite the challenges posed by climate change.
On the day after exemplenary performance in her KCSE, Zawadi left for university to pursue her Law Career, Bamba village not only appreciated this but even gathered to bid her farewell.
This symbolized the ocean’s bounty and the village’s hopes for her future.Zawadi’s eyes welled up with tears as she hugged her family and friends.
She knew that she carried the hopes and dreams of her community with her, and she was determined to make them proud.
Years later, Zawadi returned to Bamba not only as a lawyer but as a Kenyan Advocate fully admitted to the bar.
Armed with knowledge and experience, she is now dominating the corridors of Ardhi House as a Land Registrar.
The villagers would often say, “Zawadi is the pride of Bamba,”Growing up in a small village of Bamba, land was not just a commodity but a source of livelihood.
Having noticed that many of her community members, especially women, were vulnerable to land disputes and lacked knowledge about their rights, she pursued her specialisation on matters land law.
Committed to make a difference, Zawadi has worked hard, taking on a new challenges including that of seeking an parliamentary elective seat.
Determined to use her knowledge to protect the rights of her community members, as Land Registrar.
Zawadi has educated the community about their rights and helped them navigate the complex process of land registration.
Zawadi’s work had a profound impact on her community and if she succeeds to get elected as Ganze MP, she will be a community pillar on matters of land rights in Ganze and beyond.
