
Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) Services are now available at Select Huduma Centres.
This is a major milestone as it demonstrates the power of collaboration between the Major government agencies like KISM and Huduma Kenya.
n line with this goal, KISM is operationalising a framework that will enable the institute to deliver its services seamlessly to the public and stakeholders through Huduma Centers.
The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is a government agency, established as a state corporation under the “Supplies Practitioners Management Act, 2007” mandating it to regulate and license supply chain practitioners in Kenya.
Supply chain professionals can now access Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) services at select Huduma Centres, making it easier to get essential services closer to you!
Huduma CEO Ben Kai Chilumo led Huduma team in launching of this partnership at Machakos Huduma Centre. On this occasion also unveiled the KISM Counter and a Service Level Agreement between Huduma Kenya and KISM was signed.

The event was honored with the guest presence of PS Amos Gathecha, CBS, who also presided over the event alongside KISM CEO Kenneth Matiba, MBS, KISM Council members, and other distinguished guests.

This happened after the Launch of the 58th Huduma Centre in Kisumu West, Ojola, Kisumu County as well as the groundbreaking Ceremony of the Huduma Jitume Centre in Lafey, Mandera County

Huduma Kenya Service Delivery Programme (HKSDP) is a Kenya Vision 2030 Flagship Project established vide the Kenya Gazette Notice No. 2177 of 4th April, 2014.
The Programme has the mandate to transform Public Service Delivery in order to ensure access to efficient, effective and citizen-centric services through One-Stop-Shop platforms .
The Huduma Kenya Secretariat under the State Department for Public Service, Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital Development coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of the Programme. (Executive Order 2 of 2023).
Huduma Kenya has operationalized and manages four (4) service delivery channels namely:
- 57 Huduma Centers across the 47 Counties;
- Huduma Contact and Tele-Counselling Center, accessible through the call number 1919;
- Huduma Mashinani outreaches; and
- Huduma Electronic and Mobile (www.hudumakenya.go.ke and USSD *191#)
The platforms provide self-service, assisted and Digital Government Services under one roof from various Ministries, Counties, Departments and Agencies.
