In a male-dominated society, lack of equality and the obstacles for women hinders many women from developing their careers, economies and strive independently.

But visionary women have always been among us. Here in Kilifi County, Nahida Athman is among them.

At the height of her career as the CEC, Trade, Tourism and Cooperative Development in Kilifi County Government, Nahida successfully led the coordination of the Kilifi County International Investment Conference. History was made!

This was a premier event that attracted over 5000 delegates across the globe and over 100 Investments were unlocked to the County streaming through different sectors.

Nahida Athman Mohamed is a member of the Council at Taita Taveta University and Managing Partner at Nagburry Global Consulting LLP.

Nahida possess a unique blend of academic excellence and practical leadership.

With dual PhD studies in Business Management and Economics, Nahida has contributed significantly to policy and strategy formulation in the County Government of Kilifi.

Her active participation in international conferences like the 1st KCIIC and diverse professional memberships highlights her commitment to socio-economic development.

With demonstrated leadership in investment initiatives and scholarly contributions in tourism research, Nahida is a valuable asset to any state or non-state institution.

She is also an advisory board member at Planet Reserve offering strategic guidance and counsel.
